A lot has happened since the last update! Chris and I have decided that going down the road of self publishing is best for us and our series (for more information, read Chris's post here at Hollow Points). We will be releasing Hunt for the Phoenix this September on Kindle (Amazon) alongside the option of buying on paperback in the future. We will also have two special edition hardback copies for the launch...more details to follow.

Chris and I are also engaged, so it only seems fitting to start as we mean to go on, so on our first book my name will be published as Emma Byford - exciting!

We also have a Twitter page which we would like as many people as possible to join so they can see our daily Tweets on everything Fusion related!

Everything is moing fast with Fusion at the moment and we are so thrilled that very soon fans of the series will be able to read the first book.

I was excited to be able to show my family our manuscript this weekend and took a couple of pictures. There is something very special about showing friends and family all of our hard work on paper!

For the moment I have stopped the temptation of starting to read a new fantasy book series as I really cannot get enough of reading books on improving my editing and proofreading skills. Will have to find some room on our shelves for those books I put on order this weekend...

We would like to apologise for the delay in updating the website but unfortunately due to sickness that has resulted in months off and many admissions into hospital and bed rest at home there has inevitably been delay in finishing off the final manuscript for Hunt for the Phoenix. Thankfully, we can now say that we have finished our manuscript, please see below for a preview:

The current word count stands at 111,376. This will change as we now have all chapters (19 chapters in total, with a prologue and epilogue) in place to edit and will be sending samples to agents.
